Migration Effect

Migration is the movement of people from one place to another. It could be internal movement, that is, within a country or international meaning from one country to another. And the two factors responsible for such movements are ‘push’ and ‘pull’ factors. ‘Push’ factor may be as a result of wars, political and religious oppression, lack of employment among others, while ‘Push’ factor may be in search of a greener pasture, and a better life.

David Oladimeji Adisa went to town to find out the opinion of African male Diasporas on the campaign against female circumcision, here are the responses of the interviewees.
The questions asked:  (1). Do you know the reasons why female circumcision is still practised?  If so, what are they?  (2) Is there any justification to continue the practice and why?

The African nations have a lot of good things to offer yet the continent presents itself like a passive actor which has nothing to contribute to the rest of the world, other than stretches out its hand to receive.
